Blade Education is delighted to announce that it has been given some funding by the Essex Community Safety Fund to support adults with learning disabilities to explain for themselves what everyone else could do to help them live safer and more fulfilling lives in South East Essex. 

The Help US Be Safe Project (HUBS) has been funded to work with those people with learning disability who have the capacity to access the world alone without a carer to find out what else is needed to keep them safe and make them more confident of the world around them.

The first part of the project is about to listening and learning from the experts in this field, adults with learning disabilities in SE Essex.  The HUBS team are going to be out visiting, holding meetings in person and online alongside our HUBS Ambassadors.
